Why are we praying every week?

We know at Jubilee that God responds and moves when we look to Him – and we want to be a church which trusts in Him more and more.

That’s why we host weekly prayer meetings.

The Bible tells us on several occasions (Luke 6:12; Luke 5:16; Mark 1: 35; Matthew 6: 26 and more) that Jesus regularly took himself off to pray – which surely means we need to.

We also pray because we know that God wants us to and responds when we do.

What can you expect at a prayer meeting?

We know from experience and from the Bible (Matthew 18: 20: “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them”) that when we pray in groups, God turns up, so if you want to pray alongside the Son of God, then you really need to  come along.

There will be an element of guided prayer but there will also be the opportunity to pray in small groups for whatever you need prayer for or feel moved to pray for. Every meeting is different.

When: Sunday mornings from 10am-10.15am (before the main celebration meeting); Sunday nights from 7pm.
