what is THE ALPHA COURSE?
The Alpha Course is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith.
Last year, approximately 30,000 churches and organisations ran Alpha with more than 1.3 million participants.
Alpha is designed primarily for people who aren’t churchgoers and each course is open to everyone who would like to attend.
As a course, Alpha attracts a diverse range of guests of different ages and backgrounds, holding many different viewpoints. Over 7,000 churches are currently running the Alpha course across the UK in rural and urban settings, including every major UK city.
Since last year, churches around the world have been running Alpha as an online experience, and reporting a significant impact on the guests and leaders who took part.
We at Jubilee are thrilled to be able to run the Alpha Course online, starting from February 11. If you would like to attend, we'd love to hear from you.
Just fill in the form on the right (or below if you're reading on a mobile) or email firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know you'd like to come and we'll take it from there.

whY DO ALPHA?
Guests do Alpha for a wide variety of reasons – some want to investigate whether God exists; others are concerned about what happens after death.
Some people have particular questions that they would like to discuss; others want to understand other peoples’ beliefs or would like to explore what the purpose of life is.
Many guests have never been to church, others may have attended church occasionally but feel they have never really understood the basics of the Christian faith.
how does it work?
Alpha is an opportunity to explore life’s big questions together in an open, informal environment.
Each week, we watch an episode unpacking the basics of the Christian faith, addressing questions such as Who is Jesus?, How can we have faith? and How does God guide us?
Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to spark conversation which will be guided by hosts and helpers from your church.
