Jesus came to bring us into freedom, and forgiveness is key in this freedom. As Dave unfolds the power to forgive we see this key is held in God’s massive forgiveness over our lives that unlocks us to forgive others. This is an ongoing attitude in our hearts that keeps us in freedom and keeps the relationships in our lives healthy.
Rob Davey (Jubilee Church Solihull) brings us a powerful message of how God is going to take us beyond simply waiting for something to happen, taking us on to taking action and seeing God move as we do.
What our good friend Jonathan Kent shared with us on Sunday was about identity and how that related in the Apostle Peter’s life. Also that there are identity thieves out there that want to take away our identity and circumstances that shake your identity and also those who fake this identity. He reminded us to know who we are; that we God’s chosen people, that our identity has changed forever and we are to live fruitful and purposeful lives.
We should not fear coming to God to ask Him for breakthrough. He is the God of breakthrough, he has set us free for freedom, not still to be slaves (Gal 5:1) It’s good news for the poor and for all people as Jesus declares. He announces that this is his purpose and who he is. Bring your requests to God and believe you are free.
Jesus said to them ” Come and have breakfast.” Now none the disciples dared ask him. “Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord.
