HOPE during this Season (COVID-19)

We are not going to be gathering together for now, but we will still be church – just in a different way.

The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it (1 Peter 5:26)

The Senior leaders team have decided that we will cancel all public meetings of Jubilee Church Wirral for the foreseeable future in light of the ongoing worldwide pandemic. We will still be church but in a different way.

As we move into this challenging season of church life we do so knowing that God is the sovereign ruler of this world and we are to keep “looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith” (Heb 12:2) Your personal relationship with Jesus is key – keep praying, reading your bible and worship along with whatever method of playing music you have.

Please keep in touch with your life group leaders and look out for the other members of your group or people who live locally. If you are having to self isolate because you are ill or are in one of the vulnerable groups please do let your life group leaders know if you need anything. Over the next week we hope to set up a network to match people needing help with those able to help. (please contact Nicki if you can help –nicki@jubileechurchwirral.org.uk)

We have set a number of objectives for this period which we will disseminate over the coming weeks, but if you have any questions please do ask . We will endeavour to communicate as much as we possibly can via email / facebook groups and we are planning a weekly live stream on Sundays at approx 10.30am.

As a church we want to be “good neighbours” and we want to use this as an opportunity to reach out to people, particularly those we have already had contact with. In Acts 8:5 As the church scatters after the persecution in Jerusalem they kept on preaching the word and spreading the good news. So start asking God what you can do.
